Brief introduction of Ibanda Hospital

Uganda Martyrs’ Ibanda Hospital is a 178 bed capacity, Private Not for Profit Hospital.

It was founded by Mbarara Archdiocese in 1968 and is managed by Sisters of Our Lady of Good Counsel (OLGC), a local congregation of sisters, under Mbarara Archdiocese.

The Hospital belongs to the network of Roman Catholic Church Health Institutions in Uganda and is called UGANDA MARTYRS IBANDA HOSPITAL commonly known as IBANDA HOSPITAL. It has a Health-Training Institution called Ibanda School of Midwifery and Nursing.
